Who Am I?

I'm Amy Altshuld, your bridge over the uncharted waters of caring for your loved ones.

I am a non-denominational chaplain who received a Masters degree in Theology from The Academy for Jewish Religion/CA. I also have Certifications in Clinical Pastoral Education, Certified Functional Nutrition, and Massage Therapy, plus a B.A in Broadcast Communications.

A lifelong seeker and lover of wisdom and human behavior, I have 20 years of applicable experience, working as a Hospice Chaplain, Grief Counselor, and Funeral/Marriage Officiant.

Now I’ve incorporated all my interests into a package of compassion, love and humor. Bridge Over Uncharted Waters enables me to help you learn how to navigate, survive and thrive in challenging times.

The Back Story

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, toughened by cold snowy winters and stormy wet humid summers. Deeply affected by the lack of sun physically, emotionally and spiritually, I set out to find where I should be: Los Angeles, Tucson, San Francisco, Boston, New York City and back to Los Angeles.

Lover of theater, acting, music, singing, comedy, nutritious cooking, gardening. I will find answers for you from my 20+ years of personal and professional experience.
